II. Processing of personal data when calling our website

The products and services we offer on this website are only meant for people aged 18 and over. We do not ask for the personal data of children or adolescents.

At every use of our website, please read the privacy statement in order to be totally up-to-date with any changes or revisions. The privacy statement must be adapted from time to time to the actual circumstances and the legal situation.

For security reasons and to protect the transmission of personal data and other confidential content (such as contacting us), this website uses SSL or TLS encryption, recognizable by the string “https://” and the lock icon in the browser line.

1. Calling the website

When you call our website, our web server records the type and version of your browser, the operating system used, the referrer URL (i.e. if you arrived at our site via a link from a third party site, the address of that third party site), the hostname of the accessing computer, the date and time of the server inquiry and your IP address (Art. 6 (1) (b) GDPR). For technical reasons this procedure is usual and necessary to allow our website to be used. We receive support in this process from our technical service providers who may, under circumstances, have access to this data.

The aforementioned data is recorded and used for the purpose of defending against illegal use or attempts to attack our web server (Art. 6 (1) (f) GDPR). This data will not be disclosed to third parties nor will it be used by us to create user profiles. The data is deleted after a period of 3 months. You can object, at any time, to the use of your personal data for this purpose, with effect for the future.

2. Cookies

Cookies are small text files which are sent to your browser and which your end device saves if set accordingly. Only one cookie is used on our website for the language selection. This cookie is technically necessary for the use of our website, as otherwise we would not be able to offer a language selection. Furthermore, only functional cookies are set, without which the use of our site is technically not possible. The processing of data through the use of cookies necessary for the aforementioned purposes is to protect our legitimate interests pursuant to Art. 6 (1) p. 1 (f) DSGVO.

3. Your data protection rights

You may assert the following rights against us: the right of access to your ownpersonal data, as well as the right to rectification, the right to erasure, the right to restrict data processing and the right to data portability. In the case of data processing in accordance with Art. 6 (1) (e) and (f) GDPR, you also hae the right to object to the processing of such data. If you have given us your consent to process your personal data in accordance with Art. 6 (1) (a) GDPR or Art. 9 (2) (a) GDPR, you may revoke this at any time, without affecting the lawfulness of the processing that has taken place until the moment of the withdrawal of such consent. If you wish to exercise your right of objection and/or right of revocation, simply send an email to dmp@derra-ul.de. You have the right to submit complaints with a data protection supervisory authority.

4. Scope and changes to this privacy statement

This privacy statement applies exclusively to the use of our own websites. It does not apply to the websites of other service providers to which we merely refer by providing a link. For any external declarations and guidelines that are not connected with our website, we decline any responsibility or liability.

We reserve the right to adapt the aforementioned data protection provisions from time to time to meet future amendments in relation to the collection and processing of personal data.
